Our values, the stuff we hold near and dear to our hearts, shape us as a church. These values aren't just "head stuff" on a piece of paper. They really are who we are as a church and define for us how we are to act as the Body of Christ.
"We are no longer Jews or Greeks or slaves or free men or even merely men or women, but we are all the same--we are Christians; we are one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28
We welcome diversity, understanding that God loves all people. We are compelled to create an environment where everyone can experience a sense of belonging, love, and grace.
"Love one another warmly as Christians, and be eager to show respect for one another." Romans 12:10
We are a church that cares for one another, supports each other, and holds one another accountable. We work hard at developing healthy, nurturing relationships.
"Always be joyful in the Lord! I'll say it again: Be joyful!" Philippians 4:4
We want to experience God in a full and joyful way. We make every effort to create an atmosphere filled with laughter, joy, and humor.
"And then take on an entirely new way of life—a God-fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as God accurately reproduces God's character in you." Ephesians 4:22
We are learning from the life of Jesus new ways of living and being. Understanding that no one is perfect, we build the foundation for people to grow in Christ-like character.
"Your attitude must be like my own, for I, the Messiah, did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give my life as a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28
We are eager to engage in community service, mission projects, and faith sharing. We work together to give generously of ourselves for the sake of others.
